Orbitz Elevators Lifts Business Award

Fast rising Southport-headquartered company Orbitz Elevators has lifted the Emerging Business trophy at this month's Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
The company, which was established with a credit card, a van and a dream in November 2014, now employs 40 people.

Company founder and managing director Jonathan Dwayre said the business now had branches in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.
The company is now looking to expand further internationally.

Orbitz Elevators supplies, installs, maintains, repairs and modernises elevators and escalators throughout Australia and overseas.

"We have a large range of specialised elevators to choose from, including elevators designed for hospitals, nursing homes, shopping centres, public buildings, high rise buildings, residential houses as well as vehicle elevators and more,'' said Mr Dwayre.

"Customer Satisfaction is embedded in our business culture and is our highest priority.

"We have a high customer satisfaction rate and we are dedicated to retaining our reputation and providing our customers with exactly what they need."

Mr Dwayre said the company's proudest achievements in its short history was winning a maintenance contract with the City of Gold Coast.

Orbitz Elevators was presented with the Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for October at a ceremony held at Varsity Lakes-based IT company OntheNet on Wednesday night.
