Brauer Swim Dives into Success

Gold Coast-headquartered pool water treatment company Brauer Swim, which is making waves around the world, has been honoured with a prestigious business award.

The Nerang-based company, which now exports to New Zealand, Malaysia, USA and Canada as well as supplying the Australian market, was named the winner of the Manufacturing Award at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards’ August presentation.

Brauer Swim operations manager Luther Mclachlan said Brauer Swim was revolutionising the aquatic industry with its award-winning patented water treatment technologies.

He said the company, which was established in 1998, invested heavily in product development.

“Brauer Swim's primary focus is on research and development, and we are continuously designing ways to improve our product line and introduce new applications using our patented technology,’’ said Mr Mclachlan.

“Research and development on our next generation Pool Purification System is well underway and in the final testing stage.”

“Our water treatment systems are now found in 15,000 homes and at more than 1000 commercial aquatic centres, theme parks, council aquatic centres and resorts throughout Australia.

“Our products are installed at all the major theme parks in Australia and our technology was installed at the aquatic centre that hosted the Southeast Asian Games.

“We are currently setting up a USA distributor based in Florida, who is now pushing our commercial products into the American market.”

Mr Mclachlan said both the Australian Swim Schools Association and Swim Australia have listed Brauer Swim as their preferred water treatment specialist.

He said it was an honour for the company to win the Manufacturing Award.  After its latest win Brauer Swim is now in the running to claim the Gold Coast Business of the Year title in December.
