GC Flower Market

GC Flower Market is a fast-growing wholesale flower business based in Varsity Lakes. The business supplies fresh, farm-direct flowers to florists, local businesses, and the public. The business began as a two-person team and hired our first employees in early 2022 to meet growing demand. In 2023, the business relocated to a larger 500m2 warehouse after outgrowing our original space in less than two years.

The Herbal Connection

The Herbal Connection supplies herbs, teas, spices and superfood ingredients to retailers, naturopaths, manufacturers and tea brands across Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 2014 in Renae Colbert’s garage, The Herbal Connection is now a flourishing family business managed by Renae, her husband, her daughter and her daughter’s fiance. The business is now a leading supplier in the natural wellness industry.

Amazonia

Arundel-based Amazonia is a leading health food company pioneering Acai and plant-based nutrition. Amazonia had its beginnings at a market stall in Perth in 2008 when founder Dwayne Martens was armed with little more than a blender, an esky, some frozen acai berries and a bold vision.  The company’s products are now stocked in Woolworths, Coles, and Chemist Warehouse stores as well as hundreds of independent and specialty retailers.

Stratum Civil

Stratum Civil is a family-owned civil construction firm that serves clients across southern Queensland. Founded in 2020, the Yatala-headquartered business now employs more than 70 people and has a growing fleet of equipment. The company concentrates on jobs between the southern Gold Coast and Caboolture but has worked on jobs as north as the Whitsundays and as far west as Stanthorpe.

Lauxes Grates

Established in 2010, Lauxes Grates is an Australian and New Zealand market leader in the design and manufacturing of aluminium linear drainage solutions. The company has developed a range of unique, innovative, and award-winning products that it sells through 1800 distributors. Lauxes Grates has established an international arm that is now concentrating on expanding its presence in the USA.

Walsh Accountants

Walsh Accountants, established in 1976, is the Gold Coast’s oldest family-owned accounting firm. Its core services include business tax and compliance, business advisory services, SMSF establishment and compliance and estate planning. The company, which was founded by Graham Walsh, is now managed by his son Tom Walsh and is still 100 per cent owned by the Walsh family.

KnG Healthcare

KnG Healthcare is a provider of health services across Australia. Born during the COVID-19 crisis, KnG Healthcare pioneered drive-through COVID-19 testing sites and mass vaccination hubs. As the pandemic eased, KnG Healthcare expanded into other industry sectors. KnG now employs more than 700 permanent and casual staff across its divisions and provides more than 29,000 patient bed days for clients annually.

IT and Digital Business

BITS Technology Group

BITS Technology Group is a multi-award-winning managed Service Provider delivering IT support, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and communications to Australian small and medium-sized businesses. Founded in 2010, the company manage technology systems across multiple industries, with a focus on organisations experiencing growth, complexity, or compliance requirements. Its team is 100 per cent Gold Coast-based and the company has developed a speciality of handling IT needs during mergers and acquisitions.

Kokoda Youth Foundation

Kokoda Youth Foundation was established 20 years ago to help kids in our community and to honour the Australian soldiers who fought in PNG during WWII. The charity empowers young Australians by providing free life-changing programs built on the values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship, and Sacrifice. These outdoor programs foster greater resilience, leadership skills, community service and peer connection.

Sweep Marine Services

Sweep Marine Services was established in 2015 as a dedicated marine services company specialising in confined space cleaning, protective coatings, and project management for commercial and large private vessels. Last year the company launched Sweep Superyachts - a division created to meet the needs of the superyacht sector.  In 2024, Sweep serviced more than 150 vessels with teams at Gold Coast City Marina, The Boat Works, Rivergate, Norship, Cairns Superyacht Marina, and Sydney City Marina.

Con-X-ion Airport Transfers is a trusted Queensland brand moving over one million passengers annually. Based on the Gold Coast, the company provides smart, sustainable transport solutions. Established 35 years ago, the company was acquired in 2008 by the Stratton family, who were operating a rival business. The company is now recognised as Australia’s largest airport shuttle operator with a fleet of 75 modern vehicles.
