Crema Espresso Franchising is a franchisor of high quality coffee shops. Crema Espresso was initially set up as a single store in Tedder Avenue, Main Beach in 2005. The first franchise was sold in 2007 and the company now has 18 franchisees. The company is now expanding throughout Australia.

The company helps seniors live independently and comfortably in their own homes. The number of caregivers employed by the company has grown since the company was launched in 2006 from six to 176.

ONGC Systems is a provider of IT and Digital services. Their mission is to expand small and mid-size businesses using technology. ONGC helps companies to digitally transform so they can better engage customers, empower employees, optimise operations and become an employer of choice.

Tourism, Hospitality and Events Award:
Experience Oz

Experience Oz has grown from a local, Gold Coast-specific business to become
the largest online booking portal in Australia and New Zealand for the tours and activities sector. The 10-year-old Surfers Paradise-based business now has 35 employees and is now expanding to China, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.

Mayor's Innovation GC Award:
Australasian Marine Associates

Australasian Marine Associates offers specialist consulting services for the marine
environmental engineering consulting sector. Headed by Dr Daniel Spooner and Dr Adam Cohen the business' clients include Gold Coast City Council and Gold Coast Waterways. The business also has many of Australia's largest ports and private consortiums investing in nearshore projects.
