Pindara Private Hospital, the Gold Coast's leading healthcare provider for more than 40 years, has come on board as a major sponsor for the Health and Wellbeing Award category for the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.

Pindara has recently completed a Stage 2 expansion with the opening of the Dr David Lindsay Wing, featuring four luxurious wards with spacious private ensuited rooms; a cutting edge Hybrid theatre and 2 operating theatres; and new kitchen facilities. This brings the total number of licensed beds at Pindara to 335.

Their staff are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to patients. Patient health, safety and comfort are the hospital's main priorities. All departments are staffed by experienced and skilled health care professionals, who are familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields.

Pindara Private Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia's largest and most respected private hospital operator.

Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards president Ian Cousins said he was thrilled to have Pindara's support as a major sponsor of the newest award category of the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.

The awards' other major sponsors include City of Gold Coast, Suncorp Bank, Department of Industry and Science, Griffith University, Regional Development Australia Gold Coast and Gold Coast Airport.
