Sky’s the limit for award-winning finance firm

A fast-growing Gold Coast financial planning company Clear Sky Financial has collected a major award.

The Mermaid Beach-headquartered company, which was established in 2019, has won the Professions and Services category in the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards for May.

Founder Dominic O’Regan said the company, which has grown from having three employees in 2022 to 59 employees this year, focused on providing expert financial advice to everyday Australians.

“Our target market is everyday Australians aged between 30 and 60 years who could benefit from personalised financial advice,’’ said Mr O’Regan.

“We established Clear Sky Financial with the mission of creating a business that would leave a positive imprint in the lives of its clients, staff and the community as a whole.

“To achieve this, we focused on developing and delivering a better service than what was currently available in the market.”

The recipe has worked with the company now managing more than $450 million of clients’ investments.

Mr O’Regan said it was an honour to win a Gold Coast Business Excellence Award and it was recognition for the work of his team.

“We are very fortunate to have an incredible team working with us at Clear Sky Financial,’’ he said.

Clear Sky Financial is now one of six companies in the running to win the annual award in the Professions and Services category.

The May winners in the other categories were:

  • Emerging & Micro Business: Little Cocoa
  • Family Business: Eximm
  • Manufacturing: DockPro
  • Mayor's Innovation Award: Centre of Movement
  • Retail, Wholesale & Distribution: Beare Flooring
  • Construction & Trades: SEE Group
  • IT & Digital Business: GCIT
