Twomey Dispute Lawyers is a specialist law firm that provides advice relating to commercial litigation matters and disputes such as defamation, workplace law, debt recovery, commercial insolvency and bankruptcy. Experienced Gold Coast lawyer Ben Twomey established the firm in late 2019. Twomey Dispute Lawyers now has a team of 15 staff, including 11 lawyers.

Three generations of the Sweetman family have been involved in the business. Mike Kellett started his health food business, Macro Mike, in 2016 in his one-bedroom apartment. Macro Mike now averages more than 200 online orders a day and its unique protein products, healthy treats and supplements are now sold in more than 3,000 stores across the country. Coles now also stocks their products in more than 600 stores nationally.

Dynamic Hydro Excavations

Dynamic Hydro Excavations is the market leader in using high-pressure water and high-volume wet vacuums as an alternate method to traditional earthmoving. The company performs traditional earthmoving, CCTV pipe inspections, service locating, street sweeping and numerous specialised services in the civil and construction industry. Established in 2003 by Andrew Smith, the company now employs 140 people.

Arundel-based Morlife is manufacturer of health foods and supplements. The company specialises in functional foods that are designed for specific purposes. Morlife products are available through major retailers including Woolworths, Coles, Costco, and IGA as well as health food stores. The company, which has 38 employees, exports to numerous countries in Asia, the Middle East and New Zealand.

MWM is a mid-tier accounting firm that provides strategic accounting and commercial advisory support to clients. Its services are designed to impact revenue, profitability, wealth and wellbeing for their clients, which range from start-ups to $100 million enterprises. Now employing 20 people, MWM services a diverse client base of more than 400 companies.

VERVE Fitness Equipment

VERVE Fitness Equipment designs and supplies gym and fitness equipment, as well as apparel, to homes and commercial gyms. Established in 2018, VERVE Fitness has experienced exceptional growth. Based at Upper Coomera and employing 24 staff, Verve now exports equipment overseas and has assisted with complete gym fitouts in cities such as Dubai and Singapore.

Clarity IT for Business

Clarity IT for Business is a provider of managed information technology services for small to medium-sized businesses. Established in 2018 by founders Brodon Hirst and Drew Pollock, Clarity specialises in helping professional service firms with between five and 200 employees. During the past couple of years, Clarity IT for Business has enjoyed strong growth in clients, revenue and employee numbers.

Digital Surfer

Digital Surfer is a specialist Search Engine Optimisation and digital marketing company. As well as running a successful business, owner Peter Curran and wife Renee provide guest lectures to students Coomera TAFE, provide students with real-life website building projects to complete and provide lectures to digital marketing students at Griffith University.

Resly

Southport-headquartered Resly is a developer of specialist software for the management rights and holiday letting industry. Its software combines the latest technology and simplified trust accounting, wrapped up in one intuitive and easy to use software system. Since its establishment in 2019, Resly has recorded a 100% retention rate with clients.

Gold Coast Turf Club

The Gold Coast Turf Club is an icon of the Gold Coast. It provides thoroughbred racing, training facilities and more than 20 event spaces on a 34 hectare site in the heart of the Gold Coast. Each year the club hosts about 50 race meetings. The club has 39 full-time employees and this figure swells to more than 600 employees during major race days.
