Gold Coast Motor Museum
Gold Coast Motor Museum is a “must-visit” destination for car lovers. Launched in 2020 by Carl Amor & Grant Amor, the business includes a museum showcasing more than 80 vehicles from 1911 through to 2003 and Stanley’s Barn Restaurant, a themed restaurant. In the past two years more than 60,000 people have visited the museum and the restaurant has served more than 78,000 diners.
City Venue Management
City Venue Management, also known as Rackley Swimming, operates 29 leisure and sporting facilities in South-East Queensland. The three core areas of the business are facilities management, swim school management and health club management. Founded in Burleigh Heads in 1997 by Trevor and Lyn Rackley, the business began with a single swim school in the renovated Burleigh Beach Baths. Now employing more than 1200 employees, City Venue Management have had 3 generations of family launch and manage the business since 1951.
muk mat
muk mat is a manufacturer and retailer of innovative mats specifically designed to clean feet so that users can always have a clean car, tent, caravan and home. The brainchild of Suzanne Horton, muk mat was launched in 2017 and has grown exponentially. muk mat now sells to customers in Australia and NZ and has plans to starting sell in Europe, Asia and North America very soon.
SEE Group
SEE Group is a family-owned group of companies comprising SEE Civil, Quarry Solutions, Civil Rent and DMC Quarries. The group specialises in integrated project delivery solutions for civil infrastructure, urban development, quarrying, material processing, and plant management. Since 2015, SEE Group has grown at an unprecedented rate and after employing another 85 people in the past year, it now employs more than 360 people.
Pulse Merchandise Solutions
In just over four years, Pulse Merchandise Solutions has grown into a market leader in branded merchandise and apparel. Established in 2018 by partners Lee Hanrahan and Kate Richards, the Gold Coast-based business employs a team of 14and supports other local and global businesses to develop real brand loyalty. To put it simply, Pulse is the brand behind other brands.
Michael Bale & Associates
Michael Bale & Associates is a structural & civil engineering consultancy firm. The business delivers a wide range of projects including residential high rises, land subdivisions, commercial retail centers, industrial, and public-sector buildings (health & education). Established in 2012, Michael Bale & Associates now employs 26 people on the Gold Coast and in Perth.
Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat
Awarded Global Best Eco Spa at the 2021 World Luxury Spa Awards, Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat is one of Australasia’s only Ecotourism certified health retreats. It is a custom designed wellness destination for guests to re-focus on health with innovative packages providing accommodation, activities, organic cuisine and boasts the largest spa in the Southern Hemisphere. The retreat opened in 2006 and has spectacular views of the surrounding valley and ocean.

Powertec is a national wireless technology company established in 1995. The company comprises a team of over 90 permanent staff, supported by a network of over 100 telecommunications field contractors, and 1000 local distributors and dealers spanning Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Thailand, and Bangladesh. Powertec’s extensive capabilities encompass everything a wireless project requires, including communications towers, solar systems, microwave links, long range antennas, sensors, and modems.
Sea World Cruises
Sea World Cruises operates year-round experiences, including sightseeing and dining cruises, whale watching and events/charters. With four state-of-the-art vessels and locations in Surfers Paradise and Main Beach, more than 100,000 customers per year embark on a uniquely Gold Coast experiences. In the past two years over 45 traineeships have been undertaken to support business retention and skill building. The business also has 8 school-based trainees.
Ecosure
Ecosure is an environmental consulting and contracting company. Specialising in ecology, vegetation, wildlife, aquatic ecology and GIS, their scientists and field crew offer extensive on-ground experience across the full spectrum of environmental sciences. Ecosure, with 193 employees, has grown to be one of the largest providers of ecological services in Australia. Its clients include the Downer Defence, Lend Lease, Bechtel, Shell, Arrow and the Department of Defence.
Paradise Resort Gold Coast
Paradise Resort Gold Coast is one of the city’s favourite family resorts. The 409-room resort, which opened in 1981, is now owned by Australia's largest private hotel owner, Dr Jerry Schwartz. The resort features a Waterpark, Ice-Rink and a Kids Club, as well as a range of bars and restaurants for the parents. Paradise Resort employs more than 320 staff.
